Sunday Funday in Photos

June 10, 2013

I still have so much to recap about my fantastic Chicago Weekend, but yesterday’s shenanigans were so fun and photogenic that I just couldn’t skip over them.  I had a blast with friends at the Go Pro Mountain Games in Vail and with my sweetie at the Avon Carnival, so with as little commentary as my long-windedness allows, I bring you…

The 8-Ball Kayak Sprint – think whitewater kayaking against a full-contact defense.  Insanity.

After enjoying the Mountain Games for the afternoon and hiding out in the shade with a few cold beers, I made my way home in anticipation of the best date night my guy had dreamed up in a while: An Evening at the Avon Carnival.

The Gravitron was a ridiculous ride.  I can’t explain it.  You must experience it for yourself.

Neither the boyfriend nor I had ever ridden a Ferris wheel before, and we couldn’t have tried it at a more gorgeous time.  The best part was looking over our beautiful valley at dusk.

Unpictured fun from this phenomenal day included a corndog dinner (so good!), too many ice-cold beers, a basket of balls at the driving range and a mini mountain bike ride.  Whether you did a million fun things or sweet nothing on your Sunday, I hope it was the perfect way to end your weekend!
